We are happy to report today that there are two eggs in the Decorah Eagles nest. This video is less than 2 minutes long. Dad shows up. Mom and dad vocalize. Mom leaves for a break. Dad settles in for his turn at keeping the eggs warm and safe.
They have their own Facebook page. Or, follow them live 24/7 at this Ustream site.
Reblogged this on JAR Blog.
It will be fun to watch them. Thanks for the links.
Beautiful, thanks!
Great! This reminds me to check on our local eagle cam.
Mom and Dad seem to be doing a great job! đ
They do a good job caring for their nest, eggs, and young. They’ve had several successful years. Only one of the 3 from last year survived intact. One died from an accident. Another got infected tail feathers and can’t go out on its own. The third was fine. All that happened after leaving the nest.
I’ve got the streaming all set up and check from time to time. Seems like I’m not the only one watching on Facebook, some of my friends are reporting updates too. đ
Nice! I love seeing this kind of thing.
I love the way Dad scootched down into the nest, wriggling himself into position. I have a couple of friends who have watched them faithfully for at least a couple of years. I’ll have to be sure they know there’s some eagle action again.
Love seeing this. Nature is such a splendid thing….
It is great to have these kind of resources so we can watch the world.
